[HONGKONG - JUNE 2012]

We were incredibly lucky to have parents willing to bring the girls away on a weeklong holiday to Malaysia (thks mum and dad)! Since the girls will be gone for 10 whole days, we decided to have a short solo break to Hongkong. It was really nice to be there together, without having much to do except visit galleries, have lots and lots of food and of course shop till we dropped :) Some snapshots of this short but unforgettable trip.

The trip coincided with V’s big 4-0, so we had a posh dinner to celebrate. :) @ The Press Room

We took our 1st trip to an out of town area called “Ap Lei Chao“, to explore the massive discount / outlet shops…..unfortunately (or fortunately), none of them appealed to me :)

One of my favorite streets – Sun street has the cutest little architecture that gives rise to the nicest shops.

This little Cafe Corridor is literally that – a cafe in a corridor. This hole in the wall was stumbled upon just off the Times Square at Causeway Bay.

We stayed at Sheung Wan this time around and there were many many quaint shops and cafes in this area.

Yummy tender juicy pork with the “maggi mee” and milk ice tea – a must eat everytime we visit HKG
