[The move]

Have not been blogging for so long now I have almost forgotten how to use the dashboard! Ever since my parents moved in with us, we have been on the lookout for a larger place, preferably in a condominium (which at the age the girls are now, they would absolutely love!). Luckily for us, we managed to find the exact space- all that we wanted – large single level living space, perfect facilities – tennis courts, pool, bbq, even a basketball court! And the girls are thrilled with 3 different playgrounds and ample space to scooter / ride their bikes.🙂 So, it was a bittersweet goodbye to our quaint little shophouse, and onto a wonderful new experience. Here are the pix of the transition:

All packed! The house was filled with so much "hidden" stuff that we filled up more boxes than expected! Note to self - too much concealed storage is not a good thing when moving!

My favorite part of the house, the large balcony, filled with plants and my little creating corner.

The girls have settled in really well. Of course having brand new bunkbeds helped in settling in! They love the activities they can get up to downstairs – swimming, tennis etc. So glad to have moved before the school hols as well, so it has been almost like a mini vacation getting used to the new place.

Reminiscing, the posts from our last move are HERE, HERE and HERE. Seems like such a long time ago, and yet, I remember every moment and emotion of moving the last time! This is also the very first time since London that we’re renting again…. it’s fun to try to customize the space how you like it to be, whilst not making too much of an investment.

Will try to take more “styled” shots of the other parts of the house as we slowly move in and unpack. Meanwhile, I’m off to do more crafty things in my little corner!!
